21 October, 2008, Moscow — “Malakut Insurance Brokers” CJSC has organized and successfully conducted its first international seminar on aviation insurance (15-16 October, 2008, Dubai, UAE)

During the seminar the participants were involved in several professional insurance discussions, such as: insurance coverage payments, organization of in-house aviation insurance, lease airplanes insurance, financial and legal aspects of insurance agreements, etc.
The representatives of different Russian and foreign companies (Malakut, Ingosstrakh, UIB (GBR), Al Wathba National Insurance Co (UAE)) made reports on latest trends and financial changes in industry, along with various theoretical aspects of aviation insurance. Representatives of air companies from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia and Nigeria were among the participants of international seminar.

Summing up the seminar results, Mr. Oleg Samokhvalov, “Malakut” First Deputy General Director said: “Such seminars are useful as means of aviation insurance experience exchange and establishment of professional relations between insurance brokers and aviation companies. The first seminar conducted showed the highest interest of market participants in objective professional information. That is why we will continue to organize such seminars in other countries, perspective for our aviation insurance projects portfolio.

More than 15 representatives of leading international aviation and insurance companies, such as Eastern SkyJets, Silver Air, Dolphin Air, AVE.COM, MAX.AVIA, Aerovista, Skylink Aviation, Shaheen Air, Ishtar Airlines, Pamir Airways, Pt.Java Raya, Reinsurance Broker and Risk Management Consultant Industrial and General Insurance Pic., have participated in the seminar.
