During III International Space Insurance Conference “Space Club-2008” Andrey Dolgopolov, Chairman of the “Malakut Insurance Brokers” JSC Board, informed our correspondent that “Malakut” establishes the affiliated company. The new company – “Malakut Constellation” - will specialize in space and military-industrial risks insurance services. The space risks insurance industry is estimated as promising with perspectives of growth by market specialists.

As Andrey Dolgopolov said, the decision on new space insurance company establishment was made basing on specific character of given market segment. “The point specialization will allow new company to find best solutions for space risks insurance and establishment of risk-management systems” – says Dolgopolov. Mr. Rinat Mustafin is the appointed General Director of “Malakut Constellation Insurance Brokers” company. His professional experience in space & aviation insurance is more than 10 years, including 7 years experience on position of Head of Aviation and Space Insurance Division in “Malakut Insurance Brokers” JSC. “Probably, the decision on new company establishment is purely technical one. But transformation of the department into separate company is more profitable for operational purposes” – says Pavel Samiev, Financial Institutions Ratings Department Director, “RA Expert”. – “The additional benefit is the retention of “Malakut” joint brand name that is already well-known on the market”.
